Company History

The firm was founded in 1975 by Dr. Erich Muth (Dipl.-Kfm.) in Fulda and later ranked as one of the first firms in Germany to have auditors, tax consultants and lawyers all working together under one roof in an interdisciplinary manner.

Already in 1990 – immediately after reunification – the firm opened its first branch office in the new Länder in Erfurt. Since 2004, the firm has also been represented with a branch office in Meiningen.

In 2004, all business audit activities that require the auditors' seal were assigned to Dr. Muth & Co. GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, which is headquartered in Fulda and has a branch office in Erfurt. The partners and managing directors make up the firm's auditing team.
